The City of Ottawa recentlty announced the nominees for their 2011 book awards. These awards recognize both English and French titles of merit in both fiction and non-fiction genres from the previous year written by an Ottawa writer.

With three nominations this year, we're feeling pretty good:

Girl Unwrapped by Gabriella Goliger, published by Arsenal Pulp Press,

An Open Door in the Landscape by Elisabeth Harvor, published by Palimpsest Press, and

Fallout by Sandra Ridley, published by Hagios Press.
