The West Coast Book Prize society announced the winners of the 2011 BC Book Prizes on the evening of April 21st in Vancouver. We were very excited and pleased to learn that Gurjinder Basran's debut novel, Everything Was Good-Bye, published by LPG member Mother Tongue Publishing, took home the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize.

We would also like to congratulate Talonbooks and Stephen Collis for winning the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize for On the Material.
