Congratulations to Luanne Armstrong for her nomination for the 2009-2010 Surrey Schools’ Book of the Year award for her novel Pete’s Gold (Ronsdale Press, Spring 2008).

The Surrey Schools' Book of the Year is a student's choice book award program of the Surrey School District. Beginning in September, students in grades 4-7 must read or listen to at least five titles (nominated by teachers and librarians) to be able to vote for the title of their choice in May.
