Project Bookmark is placing four new bookmarks across Ontario this fall and three of them are from books published by LPG publishers.

“Song for the Field Behind Mississauga Valley Public School” from Tiny, Frantic, Stronger by Jeff Latosik, published by Insomniac Press, will be Bookmarked in Mississauga, in the public space behind Valleys Senior Public School on September 30 at 11 am.

“Giants” from Two or Three Guitars by John Terpstra, published by Gaspereau Press, will be Bookmarked in Hamilton at Sam Lawrence Park on October 6 at 10 am.

Sailor Girl by Sheree-Lee Olson, published by The Porcupine’s Quill, will be Bookmarked in Port Colborne at Lock 8 on the Welland Canal on October 12 at 11 am.

Project Bookmark placed its first bookmark in Toronto in 2009. Since then this national organization has placed five more, with the four this fall bringing the total up to ten bookmarks across Ontario. There are plans to expand to other provinces so that Canadians and visitors alike may eventually read their way across Canada as they take in the real places that have inspired such amazing pieces of fiction.
