Congratulations to Steven Mayoff and his publisher, LPG member Turnstone Press, for taking home the big prize -- the 2010 PEI Book Award for Fiction -- for his collection of short stories Fatted Calf Blues. The award is presented bi-annually to an Island writer who has shown excellence in his/her work. The author is awarded a cash prize and a commemorative plate crafted by an Island artist.
